Simple sweet roll recipe with condensed milk. Homemade biscuit roll with condensed milk. How to cook a roll with boiled condensed milk

Greetings, my lazy friends! Today's dough with condensed milk is simply magical: it cooks quickly, turns out delicious and is suitable for an endless variety of rolls, cakes and pastries.

This time I made a quick roll with jam from it. Condensed milk dough is ideally suited for rolls, since it rolls up very easily and does not break.

Do you like condensed milk? The same, real, thick, yellowish color, with a unique smell and taste.

I discovered Belarusian condensed milk “Rogachev” and have not yet tried anything better than it.

And also, as it turned out, the white and blue label that we have become accustomed to since childhood does not mean anything.

Do you want to buy only natural and tasty condensed milk? Then let's figure out how to distinguish real condensed milk from a fake.

How to choose the right condensed milk?

The most important thing when buying condensed milk, and any products in general, is always read the label!

There you can find a lot of new things for yourself.

First of all, pay attention to the name of the product: any name other than the registered “Condensed Milk” indicates a fake. That is, even if condensed milk is written on the can, keep in mind that there is probably not condensed milk inside.

GOST will always be indicated on the original can of condensed milk. If the jar does not have these 4 treasured letters, then it is better to put it aside.

Well, and, of course, the composition. Natural condensed milk should contain only two ingredients: milk and sugar. There should be no trace of any vegetable oils there.

Also, avoid cans with defects and prefer reputable brands.

So, I really love condensed milk and I just feel sorry for making anything from it other than cream, for example. Therefore, I did not cook this roll until one day I bought condensed milk that was not very tasty.

But this does not mean that it turned out to be tasteless or that you only need to use tasteless condensed milk. The better the starting ingredients (and this is true for any recipe), the tastier the result will be.

And this handsome man has cherry marmalade. This dough needs sourness. It itself is very sweet.

Condensed milk dough recipe

So, for a light and tasty dough we will need:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • butter - 100 gr.
  • a packet of vanilla sugar or a pinch of vanillin (prefer sugar with natural vanilla )
  • condensed milk - 1 can
  • flour - 1 cup (200 ml cup)
  • baking powder - 1 teaspoon

Carefully remove the baking sheet and then the fun begins. Some people advise rolling the roll while it’s still hot (you can use a wet towel), then let it cool, carefully unroll it and spread the filling.

I think this method would work if you wanted to coat it with cream or chocolate butter.

I had orange marmalade (my favorite), which was chosen for a slight tartness because the batter is quite rich.

So I spread the dough all at once and rolled it directly onto the baking sheet. Be careful with the amount of jam, which will start to melt and spill out as you roll the roll.

Also, be sure to press down on the edge of the roll you are rolling so that it rolls as tightly as possible.

You can sprinkle powdered sugar or chocolate on top.

And this one had apricot jam. By the way, this is one roll on the platter. Here the pieces are in three or four layers - about 20 pieces per cut.

The funny thing is that it comes out very well, crumbly, although I don’t even beat it too much. Even the most inexperienced cook can prepare it.

But what happens if you simply add cocoa to the dough and cream (I have butter + condensed milk for the cream):

Bon appetit! And until new “lazy” meetings!

If you or your family have a sweet tooth, this recipe will take pride of place in your collection. Sponge roll with condensed milk is prepared in a matter of minutes and does not require expensive ingredients. For this baking, you can use absolutely any filling at your discretion: jam, marmalade, marmalade or your favorite cream. The roll turns out to be deliciously tasty and tender, so it can be served not only for evening tea, but also safely placed on the holiday table. This dessert does not require any special culinary skills, which makes it even more attractive for young housewives who do not have the proper experience in preparing homemade pastries.

How to cook sponge roll with condensed milk

Pour the condensed milk into a convenient deep container and beat in the chicken eggs. Using a hand whisk or mixer, beat the ingredients until smooth. If you have a food processor with dough attachments, you can use it.

Now you will need soda, which must be extinguished. Pour it into a spoon and pour in table vinegar. You can use freshly squeezed lemon juice instead. Hold the mixture in a spoon to allow the reaction to occur, and then add to the dough. Mix the sweet mass thoroughly.

Add flour in small portions, first sifting it through a fine-hole strainer. Using a spatula or whisk, knead into a homogeneous dough without lumps.

Prepare a flat baking sheet in advance in which you will bake the roll. Line it with parchment paper. Take a pastry brush or cotton pad and grease the baking sheet with a small amount of vegetable oil. Turn on the oven to 180-190 degrees. Pour the prepared condensed milk dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Using a spatula, spread it evenly over the entire surface. Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Baking time depends on the power of your equipment. The dough should be browned on top and set well on the bottom. The color of the cake will be light golden. Check readiness using a wooden stick or toothpick: pierce the dough with it and remove. If there is no sticky dough left on the surface, the cake is ready. Otherwise, keep it in the oven for some more time.

Using a wide spatula, remove the finished layer of dough from the baking sheet and immediately wrap it in a roll along with parchment. This can be easily done while it is hot. Carefully unroll the roll and remove the parchment. Spread with your preferred filling: cream, jam or boiled condensed milk. Wrap again.

Dust the baked goods with powdered sugar or melted chocolate and garnish with chopped nuts. Enjoy your tea!

Note to the owner:

  • If desired, you can add vanilla or cinnamon to the roll dough. Then the baked goods will have the characteristic taste of these seasonings.
  • Do not overcook the cake in the oven: as soon as it has set and acquired a slight brown tint, immediately test to see if it is ready. An overdried layer of dough will be impossible to wrap into a roll; it will simply break.
  • In addition to the listed filling options, you can stuff the roll with fresh fruit and sugar. Banana, apple cinnamon or strawberry puree are great options. You can pre-process the crushed fruit in the microwave. This is especially true for hard fruits: apple, pear, etc.

    1. First, take parchment the size of a baking pan and draw a drawing of a giraffe with thick lines using a simple pencil. Tool Baking paper For even baking, it is better to place open pies and quiches in the oven on a wire rack, and to prevent the sauce boiling from the heat from dripping between the rods, baking paper will help. For example, the Finns produce a good one - it is quite dense and is already divided into sheets that are easy to get out of the box. And nothing more is required from paper.

    2. Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the yolks with half a glass of granulated sugar into a thick foam.

    3. Beat the whites into a stiff foam with a pinch of salt. Then gradually add the remaining granulated sugar, continuing to beat.

    4. Carefully combine the yolk and protein masses, stirring with a spoon from top to bottom.

    5. Gradually add flour through a sieve, gently stirring the dough from top to bottom.

    6. Cover the form with white paper (so that the design is better visible), then with parchment, pattern down. Grease the parchment and sides of the pan with vegetable oil. Squeeze out the dough from a pastry syringe or bag according to the pattern. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about 2-3 minutes.

    7. At this time, sift the cocoa into the remaining dough and mix gently.

    8. Take the pan out of the oven, carefully spoon the dough onto the drawing and level it with a pastry scraper. This needs to be done as quickly as possible.

    9. Place the pan back in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about 18–20 minutes (baking time depends on the characteristics of your oven and the thickness of the dough). We take out the finished biscuit and turn it over on a towel. Remove the parchment. Tool Oven thermometer How the oven actually heats up, even if you set a specific temperature, can only be understood with experience. It is better to have a small thermometer on hand that is placed in the oven or simply hung on the grill. And it is better that it shows degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit simultaneously and accurately - like a Swiss watch. A thermometer is important when you need to strictly observe the temperature regime: for example, in the case of baking.

    10. Turn the biscuit over and brush with boiled condensed milk. Using a towel, roll it up and let it cool.
